Dogging
Course Description
Dogging focuses on two areas. One is the slinging technique and the other one is moving a load when it is out of sight of the crane operator. This course enables participants to gather knowledge and skills to be able to sling loads in or out of sight in a safe manner.
Who Is This Course For?
Everyone who is involved in dogging work can sign up for this course.
Prerequisite
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have 100 points of valid identification
- USI number (Go to Usi.gov.au)
Goals Of Dogging
Some of the goals are:
- To enable participants to be able to select sling types and sizes
- To train participants to maintain the stability of the load
- To train participants with information and skills to carry out dogging in and out of sight of the crane operator, in a safe manner
