Traffic Control
Course Description
This course aims to train you with Traffic Control skills in order to ensure the safety of construction and maintenance workers and also of the general pedestrians from vehicles due to changed traffic conditions. Accidents can be prevented by effectively managing the construction vehicle operations throughout the construction process.
Who Is This Course For?
People interested to work in this field, who are at least 18 years old and have a White Card and are willing to work day or night (shift-work).
Prerequisite
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have 100 points of valid identification
- USI number (Go to Usi.gov.au)
Goals Of Traffic Control
The course aims to enable you :
- to operate a stop/slow bat
- to guide vehicles
- to keep pedestrians and vehicles safe
- to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site
- to understand and apply the signs and instructions
